Senior Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team in building customer-centric solutions that drive business value. This role is designed for a top-tier engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong product intuition and business acumen.

You will tackle ambiguous challenges, rapidly prototype solutions alongside stakeholders, and architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, serving as the critical technical bridge between business objectives and high-performing software solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

Engineering & System Design

• Architect in Ambiguity: Translate loosely defined business problems into clean, robust architectures while anticipating edge cases and long-term needs.
• Rapid Prototyping: Build functional prototypes with stakeholders to validate ideas quickly, accelerate feedback loops, and establish foundations that can scale into production-ready solutions.
• Full-Stack Delivery: Own features end-to-end across services, data, and user interfaces, making pragmatic technology choices and avoiding unnecessary complexity.

Engineering Productivity with AI

• AI-Assisted Development: Leverage agentic AI tools throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to increase velocity while maintaining full accountability for code quality, correctness, and security.
• Feedback Loops for Coding Agents: Design quality gates, specification-driven workflows, and deterministic validation processes that identify agent-generated issues before they reach production.
• Critical Adoption: Assess AI tools and emerging development patterns with a critical mindset, adopting solutions that demonstrably improve team outcomes and discarding those that do not.

Reliability & DevSecOps

• Security-First Mindset: Embed security and compliance into every stage of the development lifecycle through secure architecture and proactive risk mitigation.
• Production Standards: Develop well-tested, maintainable software and implement CI/CD pipelines that ensure resilience, scalability, and an exceptional user experience.
• Operational Readiness: Design systems with observability, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and recovery mechanisms from the outset, ensuring production environments are measurable, debuggable, and recoverable.

Execution & Business Ownership

• Technical Translation: Partner closely with Product Managers and business leaders to explain complex architectural decisions and tradeoffs in clear, outcome-oriented terms.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with security, risk, compliance, and platform teams early in the development process, clearly communicating technical tradeoffs and advocating for alternative approaches when business needs require them.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience designing, supporting, and deploying modern enterprise-grade software systems.
• Proven experience using agentic AI tools throughout the SDLC.
• Hands-on expertise with technologies such as Python, Vue.js, AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms, Terraform, APIs, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
• Strong system design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
