ServiceNow Developer (ITOM/CMDB Discovery)

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer (ITOM / CMDB Discovery) who wants to learn and transform his/her career.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development and administration.

• Advanced to Fluent English.

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.

• Experience configuring and managing MID Servers.

• Strong knowledge of CMDB governance, CSDM framework, and data quality best practices.

• Experience developing ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.

• Experience building integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.

• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and Service Management practices.

• Experience with Event Management, monitoring tools, and infrastructure discovery solutions.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex ServiceNow platform and infrastructure issues.

• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience within Utilities or Energy industry.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of Integration Hub and ServiceNow Orchestration.

• Experience with Vulnerability Response and Security Operations integrations.

• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Mentoring or technical leadership experience.

• ITIL Foundation Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB solutions.

• Configure and support Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and related ITOM modules.

• Manage and maintain MID Server infrastructure and connectivity.

• Develop and maintain custom Discovery Patterns and automation workflows.

• Implement and enforce CMDB governance, CSDM standards, and data quality processes.

• Monitor CMDB health and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Design and develop integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems.

• Troubleshoot platform issues while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.

• Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and ServiceNow best practices adoption.

• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.

Preferred Certifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).

• ServiceNow ITOM Certification.

• ServiceNow CMDB / CSDM Certification.

• ITIL Foundation v4.
